This tool is called the Dura Pro and it works really fast and it is safe. It cuts both at the end and on the side, which means I don’t wind up with soft tissues in the way that would block my view. Not only is it safe but there is much less bleeding when I do a TLIF because it doesn’t injure the blood vessels right near the pars intercrista. And anyone that does a lot of these knows they bleed like crazy. This almost changes the way I do the MIS TLIF surgery because I can go all the way down to the disc and the opening is just perfect.
