I love technology, AI, and robots. But surgery isn’t as simple as driving to work. Surgery requires a heavy dose of DECISION MAKING and JUDGEMENT. When you’re operating, the real question is: Do I expose this nerve embedded in scar tissue, or is it too risky? Will a robot know how to make that call, or will it treat the patient like a test case? The future isn’t robots replacing surgeons. It’s great surgeons using great robots. Bring it on!
