Spine surgery has its most rewarding moments when I know the patient is going to wake up happy I was their surgeon. If I had to narrow it down, my favorite procedures are lumbar disc herniation with radiculopathy treated with the endoscope through laser endoscopic spine surgery, and one or two level cervical problems where I perform a cervical disc replacement. Asking me to choose just one is sort of like asking me which of my four children I like the best. It depends.
