Alexandra "Alex" Mero, PA-C, brings a wealth of orthopedic expertise to her role as a Physician Assistant. As the OR PA, Alex supports surgical procedures with precision, focus, and a commitment to teamwork, while also providing compassionate, patient-centered care in the clinic. Alex was drawn to a career as a PA out of a passion for medicine and patient care, coupled with a desire for a balance of autonomy and collaborationÑa role that allows her to connect deeply with patients while working closely with a skilled team.
Her journey into orthopedics began at Point Loma Nazarene University, where she graduated summa cum laude in Athletic Training and Applied Health Sciences, followed by a Master of Health Services from UC Davis. Alex's extensive experience includes patient evaluation, treatment planning, and surgical support, making her an essential presence both in the OR and in-office settings.
She brings warmth and compassion to each patient interaction, whether she's reviewing imaging, discussing treatment plans, or assisting in surgery. Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying active through running, cycling, and tennis, and loves spending time with her family. Her dedication to her work and her patients enhances the level of care in our practice.
